(Pardon my luggage on the couch)
We are not talking about 4 Star luxury here, we are talking about quaint, natural charm of the islands. The pictures I took speak for themselves.
No television, no telephone and no air conditioning. The breezes in Hawaii are better than air conditioning. They have free WI-FI internet connection, which I found to work quite well.

You do not receive "turn down" service from a maid each night or even the bed clothes changed daily or so.
You don't get that at home so why do you need it in your room? What I am saying here is that there is no luxury, but everything is quite adequate to get the feel of the islands. No beach on premises but a very nice seawall with a gorgeous view of the island of Lanai.

There is a small mall and other stores within walking distance. The parking lot for your car is just steps awway from your room and there is no addtional charge for parking. Now comes the fun part. What does all of this cost you? My room was $115 per night and that included all appropriate taxes.
A simple $115 per night without adding on daily parking fees, valet charges as compared to the $325 plus parking and taxes at other resorts is quite a diference.
.

Be sure and tell them Alan sent you. You will be glad you stayed there. I could tell you what you simply must see while on Maui but that is for a different time and situation.
